Tree of Peacefic- Chapter 2"Work with me here!" I groaned, as I struggled with the zipper on my tightly packed suitcase. A small bit of green blouse was sticking out, displaying to the world my personal preferences in clothing. In a fit of rage towards this inanimate object (which, as I'd learned in previous experiences, was never a good sign), I threw all my strategy towards the zipper away, to tug at it back and forth. Finally I gave up, glaring at the wet ground that spewed a gush of cold water into my socks every time I took a step. The storm from earlier's general fury at everyone inhabiting the island had dulled into a resigned drizzle, but the puddles remained,Tree of Peacefic- Chapter 2

Tree of Peacefic- Chapter 1"Wow! It's amazing!" I exclaimed, staring at the ocean. I'd never seen the ocean before, and the very sight of it sent a wave of excitement flowing from my spine to every part of my body. This did nothing to calm the bundle of nerves that had frozen itself firmly in my stomach, which had appeared earlier today while I was struggling to tame my hair into a civilized, cute ponytail. It was a complete disaster, which comes when your hair naturally flows into an unruly cowlick, and I realized, in that odd, sideways way my brain often does- I was going to be completely on my own. No parents to ask for money, no friends from school to run into on tTree of Peacefic- Chapter 1
